I contributed to the conception, delivery and supervision of an advertising campaign for "Conversations For Change"'s upcoming intervention held at Edinburgh's Waverley Train Station on October 3rd 2015. The advertising was projected onto the wall of Edinburgh's Forest Coffee Shop and was visible through the shop windows.
The second intervention was a safe space for discussion, where everyone can talk freely about mental health awareness and the treatment of this subject area in our current society. I also volunteered for this intervention by engaging different groups and facilitating conversation. I also supported the spatial design for the venue to best enhance our project goals.
Shortly after, the team and I were nominated for the Creative Edinburgh Awards of 2015 and we won the Social Award in November 2015.
This experience helped improve my confidence in developing my own mental health related design interventions and generating interactions and reactions with the people while carrying out such events. This was a decisive experience in choosing my major project's final design outcome at Edinburgh Napier University.
